FAQs

Will this be confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality between a licensed professional counselor and client is something that counselors are bound to by ethical standards of their profession. Confidentiality helps to provide a safe place where a client is able to openly discuss issues/problems while knowing their information will not be shared with others. By law, there are three cases that cannot and will not be kept confidential: cases of child/elder abuse; imminent risk to harm self or someone else; &/or the file of a client being subpoenaed by a judge. Any other disclosure of information about one's counseling experience require written permission by the client. If the client is under 18 years of age, we will discuss how confidentiality works with parents of a minor in session.

What are the costs?

The standard rate for an LPC is $135/session. If you would like to use your insurance, contact Kristi pre-first visit to discuss how this will work. Normally, clients with insurance are able to pay their copay amount for each session, as long as the deductible has been met and the insurance company reimburses for counseling in and out of network.

Kristi is currently on the following insurance panels, although she also takes out-of-network plans: BlueCross BlueShield.
